Works For Me Wednesday

I can't remember where exactly I originally heard about or read this tip, but it is definitely worth sharing. When burning or purchasing a photo CD, go ahead and get an extra copy. The extra copy is to send to a friend or relative in another part of the country. That way, if a natural disaster strikes your area or if something happens to your home, you still have copies of your pictures safe and sound. Of course, you in return should offer to keep your friend or relative's photo CD's for them as well.

What a terrific idea and one that would absolutely work for us! Both our families are in Maine and Fla.. we are in TN. I have many options for mailing. I love it! Now.. who do I trust with my precious memories? ;) Thanks for the tip.

This is a good idea. I have a friend who used to store all her photo negatives at her parent's house. I thought it was clever to have a safe place to store duplicates.

Great idea...I actually buy empty cds in a box, so this idea really comes in handy! :-)

Great idea. I've always thought one of the most tragic things in a fire would be to lose your pictures, which you can't replace.
I love the music on your site, it brought back memories of a retreat I went on a year and a half ago. I needed to hear it!
